As we move from the spring feasts into the fall feasts, we enter what I like to call the season of the three W's: waiting, working, and watching. The Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) reminds us to live with expectation as we await the return of Messiah. Throughout Scripture, trumpets announced the coronation of a king, gathered God's people, and called Israel to battle. Could these themes point us toward the return of Yeshua, the resurrection of the faithful, and the establishment of His Kingdom?
