Grandma Patches

     Growing up in the suburbs of a small town on the east coast of the United States, Grandma Patches was led to a relationship with the Messiah, Jesus/Yeshua, at a crisis pregnancy center at the age of seventeen. She soon married and proceeded to have one less than a dozen children to teach and train up.

     Since she had such a large following, she found herself answering many questions throughout the years for all different age levels. These included questions about God/YHVH. Because of the questioning, she developed the ability to take hard subject matter and distill it down to small bits of truth that a child can understand. 

​

     Even though she always enjoyed writing, she never aspired to be an author until one night in the early spring of  2023 she awoke from her sleep with a Passover rhyme in her head. She proceeded to type it out, and from there birthed the idea of writing a children's series about God's redemptive plan of salvation based on the feast days found in Leviticus 23 in rhyme.

     This book series has started with the Creation story with the book BIG HOORAYS - God's Creation Days, which goes through the days of creation in a fun and engaging way. As God told the children of Israel when he gave them the feast days to not forget the Sabbath day when HE gave them the rest of the feast days. It is the Sabbath that sets the stage for the truths that God unfolds for his people through the rest of the feast days.

     Grandma Patches' desire is that these books will be used as an encouragement to young believers and families everywhere. They are designed to undergird them and bolster their faith in the Messiah and the promises HE has for those who trust in HIM.
